Hayes House -  Rockingham, NC

My name is Mark Hayes and I purchased a house and had to have it moved.  I contacted several movers but the only one i could get to reply was Mickey Simmons at Simmons House Moving, Inc..  He came all the way from Shelby, NC to Rockingham, NC (a three hour trip) just to look at the house and see if he could move my house.  After looking at the house and seeing where it needed to be moved to, he agreed to move the house for me.  He told me before he moved the house that sometimes during a move, that you may lose a window or two and possibly get some stress cracks in the walls.  I felt that would be minor issues to deal with if they did occur.  After moving the house and prepping it for the new foundation, we were finally allowed to go inside.  When we walked inside the house, I was amazed to find that no windows had been broken and only one small stress crack in the wall, which we were able to repair very easily.  I was very pleased with the move and his professionalism and admired Mr. Simmons and his hard working crew.  It is good to know in these days and times that there are still people who give their word as their bond.  Thank you, Mickey and crew for a job well done and may God richly bless all of you.
